Midland Park Gospel Hall is a place where you can come to hear God's word faithfully taught and meet with a local body of believers!
On January 23, 1927, our assembly was formed in the borough of Midland Park, New Jersey and met at 197 Godwin Avenue in a storefront. In 1928 the current building was erected at 61 Prospect St., and the assembly continues to meet in that building today.
Today, we are a group of around 40+ families from many different backgrounds and countries who meet to remember the Lord together every week. We would love for you to come too!
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God! As such, it tells us about who God is, how we can know Him, and how the Church should gather together. God loves all mankind regardless of race or background and that includes you!
Although we are all sinners (Romans 3:23) God has shown His love for us in giving His Only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus was born of a virgin into a world that did not fully accept or even know who He really was (John 1:11). After 30 years of public service, He willingly went to the Cross and died, bearing the sin of a fallen condemned world. All who come, accepting that they are indeed sinners, and in faith turn to the work that the Lord Jesus did on the cross as personal and for them, will receive God's gift of Eternal Life (John 3:15-17).
Follow the link below for more detail on our Bible-based beliefs and notations as to where these are based on in Scripture.
We have a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18-20) so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and hear the wonderful news of salvation through the Lord Jesus.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God.
Read: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each coeternal in being, co-identical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
Read: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 14:10, 26; 2 Corinthians 13:14
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.
Read: Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2, 14; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-8
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal physical resurrection from the dead.
Read: Acts 2:22-36; Romans 3:21-25; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 1:3-5
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God. There, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.
Read: Acts 1:9-10; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25, 9:24; 1 John 2:1-2
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.

We aim to give Christ His rightful place as Lord, Head, and Chief Shepherd. Spiritual activity such as preaching, teaching, collective prayer and worship, is a shared responsibility. Church leadership is through a body of elders who are men accountable to God, and whose only authority is the Word of God.
Read: Acts 20:27
We recognize water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as the Scriptural ordinances of obedience for the assembly in this age. For the Lord's supper, we believe there should be a whole, unbroken loaf and a common cup.
