Christians Gathered to the Lord Jesus

Midland Park Gospel Hall is a place where you can come to hear God's word faithfully taught and meet with a local body of believers!

On January 23, 1927 our assembly was formed in the borough of Midland Park, New Jersey and met at 197 Godwin Avenue in a storefront. In 1928 the current building was erected at 61 Prospect St., and the assembly continues to meet in that building today.

Today, we are a group of around 40+ families from many different backgrounds and countries who meet to remember the Lord together every week. We would love for you to come too!

Thursday Evening

We meet to remember the Lord as He commanded in Luke 22 by Breaking Bread and Drinking the Cup each Sunday morning. Men in fellowship lead the congregation in prayer and worship of the Lord Jesus, as led by the Holy Spirit. All in the assembly fellowship may partake of the bread and wine. All are welcome to witness this important ordinance of the Lord's Supper as he requested: "This do until I come." The Lord's Supper is followed by a short Bible message and time to meet and greet afterwards.

In the afternoon teaching meeting, a preselected brother will minister on God's word. This normally follows a series of topics such as the Biblical exposition, the Christian life, etc..
Each Sunday night, we proclaim the good news of the gospel. "How that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:34). During the Covid19 Pandemic, our Gospel service is now online with a half an hour message for all to tune in. Brothers from around the world have shared in the preaching of the gospel in this online endeavor. If Christ is not your personal savior, we especially invite you to this online meeting to hear how you can be saved!
On Thursday nights we meet together in person at the hall for prayer and Bible study. On most Thursdays, a half-hour of prayer is followed by a Bible study.  Books of the Bible are studied chapter by chapter and each study is opened with an overview of the chapter, followed exposition and practical application in a discussion format. On the last Thursday of the month we hold an extended prayer meeting instead of a
Bible Study.
